Brisbane Funerals & Memorials

Each funeral or memorial service can and should be as individual as the person who has died.
My goal is to help create, design and deliver a ceremony that is special in this way.

Whilst embracing and respecting all spiritual and cultural beliefs, I can assist you with every aspect of planning and preparing for funerals, memorials and scattering of ashes.

Aspects such as ceremony locations, traditional or natural burial sites, cremations, eco coffins or shrouds, music choices, rituals, eulogies etc are your choices to make.

The ceremony we will create together will provide a time to honour the person who has died, to give thanks for their life and to connect with your community. Which in turn, assists in your bereavement.

My history of work in early childhood education and disability support, & volunteer roles with Camp Quality, the MS Society & Griefline has significantly enhanced my role as a funeral celebrant by providing me with a unique set of skills, perspectives, and sensitivities that contribute to creating more meaningful and compassionate funeral ceremonies.

Armed with a heightened sense of the importance of inclusivity and accommodation, I understand that people come to funeral ceremonies with various emotional, physical, and cognitive abilities. I strive to create funeral services that are accessible and respectful to all, taking into account unique needs and preferences.

I will guide you through the process of crafting your ceremony in a collaborative and inclusive way, so that together we can create the most authentic ceremony possible. Together, we can watch it unfold and transform into something meaningful, memorable, engaging & healing.

I work alongside many different funeral directors across South East Queensland and can also assist you in family led memorials and funerals.
